The general public can access Frankston Tech School outside school hours in the form of scheduled workshops and school holiday programs.

After School Programs

4:00 – 6:30 pm

Max 20 Students

Our Discovery Programs offer an exciting one-day experience for up to 80 students. These programs are designed to give students and teachers hands-on exposure to emerging technologies and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills, showing how technology can be applied to improve both the world and our workplaces.

AI Storytelling

Students will use Generative AI to create aspirational written and visual texts for young people.

VR / Mico Art

Students will explore and capture microscopic worlds from around FTS and sublimate their favourite onto a product to take home.

Bioplastic

Students will create, test and mould different bioplastic recipes, using seaweed, to create a product.

Coding: Drones

Sudents will automate a drone to navigate an obstacle course and solve a problem.

Coding: Micro:Bit

Students will test their reaction times, and focus, by coding and competing with a micro:bit controller

Speedrun your 3D modelling skills and create a Funko Pop model of yourself in TinkerCAD.

Coding: Arcade Game

Create and code an 8-bit arcade game to explore a fantastical world in MakeCode Arcade.
